2. Recording Booth (Sound + Vision) Capacity: 2

Description
How to book the Recording Booth:
- You can book 4 Recording Booth sessions per month in advance, with additional same-day sessions permitted if space is available.
- Sessions run for 3–4 hours, starting mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
- Bring a photo ID to check in for your Recording Booth session.
- Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance via the link in your LibCal booking email.
- If you’re running late, call the Technology Desk at 785-843-3833 x139.
- If we haven't heard from you after 1 hour, your session may be reassigned to allow others to use the space.
Please note:
- The library does not provide an engineer for your session. Staff will be available for the first 20 minutes or so to help you get started. After that you’ll be on your own to run the session. If you don't have experience with multimedia software, we recommend working with an engineer for more involved projects. See our Engineers Page or contact Studio Specialist Matthew Pelsma at mpelsma@lplks.org for more information.
- Personal files are deleted after each session. Please bring an external drive to save your work. 64GB flash drives and SD cards are $10 at the Technology Desk.
- Users are responsible for putting away equipment at the end of their session and must be finished with all cleanup and file transfers by the end of their scheduled session time.
- Food and drink are not allowed with the exception of water in a sealable container.
