4. Videocast Studio (Sound + Vision) Capacity: 6

4. Videocast Studio

Description

Booking Instructions

  • You can book 4 Videocast sessions per month in advance, with additional same-day sessions permitted if space is available.
  • Sessions run for 3–4 hours, starting mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
  • Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance via the link in your LibCal booking email.
  • If you are over an hour late, your session may be reassigned to allow others to use the space.

Please note

  • The library does not provide an engineer for your session. Staff will be available for the first 20 minutes or so to help you get started. After that you’ll generally be on your own. If you don't have experience with cameras and microphones, we recommend working with an engineer for more involved projects. See our Engineers Page or contact Studio Specialist Matthew Pelsma at mpelsma@lplks.org for more information.
  • Users are responsible for putting away equipment at the end of their session and must be finished with all cleanup and file transfers by the end of their scheduled session time.
  • Personal files are deleted after each session. Please bring an external drive to save your work. Video files are large and may require extended transfer times. Please plan accordingly. 64GB flash drives and SD cards are $10 at the Tech Desk.
  • Food and drink are not allowed with the exception of water in a sealable container.
